About Me

Hi! I'm Leah. I am an honors student and varsity cheerleader. My favorite subject is Chemistry and I hope to major in it in college. Another subject I enjoy is Marketing. I hope to minor in Business Marketing. My ideal career would be to combine those two fields or to become a high school Chemistry teacher.

In addition to being a scholar athlete, I have two part time jobs. I work at an ice cream store and coach children in gymnastics.

Student Athletic Council

Towards the end of sophomore year I was nominated to represent the cheerleading team in my high school's Student Athletic Council. The council brings together all varsity teams to work towards common goals. In a school as large as Arlington, it is important to create guidelines and expectations for our varsity athletes.

Zoe's Dairy Barn

When I was fourteen I approached the owner of the local ice cream shop and asked for a job. I started as a runner and eventually became an ice cream scooper and short order cook. I hope to be promoted to manager before I graduate. One of my favorite tasks at Zoe's is creating social media content.

Angie's Gymnastics

After competing on the gymnastics team for three years, I was invited to work as a coach and camp counselor. Working with the gymnasts has been so rewarding that I'm considering being a teacher in the future.
